On the corner of 4th and C right at a trolley stop is a sidewalk cafe called Elixir.
Walked by it the other day and asked if they had any Tiramisu cake. (Still on my quest for greatest Tiramisu : Twiggs Darband ) They said they did have it but as it turns out it was in the form of a shake. It has tiramisu flavored gelato, milk, a shot of espresso and some whipped cream.
The tiramisu gelato by its self is pretty good and has some flavor but after it’s been through the blender with the other ingredients, the flavor of tiramisu is gone. With the espresso and milk it’s more like a frappacino, mochacino, etc you’d get at FiveBucks.
