Haven’t completed your holiday shopping yet? Check out the Brooklyn Flea! Under an amazing view of the Brooklyn Bridge near the Brooklyn ferry landing is an excellent line up of vendors selling vintage clothing, antiques, art, collectibles and more! Even more amazing to me was the lineup of food vendors in the back corner. A few weeks ago when we went to visit, there was an interesting Korean Hot Dog stand that took the Kogi BBQ concept by combining traditional Korean with sausages. There was also a full fledged mobile wood burning pizza cart and a fresh lobster bisque from Red Hook Lobster Pound. But that day, by measure of the long line of patrons slicing through entire length of the flea market, the most popular food vendor was the Salvadorean Pupusa Stand. It’s the same Pupusa vendor from the legendary Red Hook Soccer Fields. Everything is freshly handmade and grilled before you. For all you procrastinators, the Brooklyn Flea is a great way to get out to the city, pick up some great gifts and most importantly some awesome food at the same time! Enjoy!
