All that winter I was making really good waffles using the Krusteaz waffle mix. But I noticed I had to increase the setting to get the waffle crispy. Now my waffles split in two – half is on the top and half is on the bottom. They aren’t burned, but I have to pry the waffle out of the iron and I can’t understand. I thought I wasn’t supposed to spray the iron with anything or grease the iron because of the mix used. Can you tell me what I”m doing wrong? Should I try this recipe instead of the mix?
