 So, let’s get started!

 1) Doughnuts: No kid can ever say “No” to doughnuts. The fried doughnut dipped in chocolate syrup and sprinkled with colourful sprinklers is every kids favourite sweet dish. It’s colourful to look and tasty to eat.

  • Whisk together all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and milk.
  • Combine the ingredients into a thick mixture.
  • Then, knead the mixture into a dough.
  • Take small balls and roll it into a chapati.
  • Cut hollow circles from the chapati
  • Fry until golden brown.
  • Let it cool down.
  • Spread chocolate syrup and sprinkle colourful confetti over it.

As Raksha Bandhan is here, your son can also give a box of homemade doughnut as rakhi gifts to his sisters.

2 Frozen Popsicles: Summers are all about licking frozen treats. And, kids love to relish colourful popsicles. Make summers more enjoyable and refreshing for them by giving them a treat of frozen popsicle. Here we have described fruit popsicle because summer is the season of juicy and sweet fruits.

  • Blend the available fruits. You can go for mangoes, strawberries, blackberries, etc.
  • Also slice the fruit into small chunks.
  • Take the popsicle mould, pour a spoonful of the fruit puree and add the fruit chunks.
  • Now, pour over it either sparkling water or milk (as you desire) and set it to freeze
  • Take out once firm and solid.

3 Chocolate Cake: Ask any kid about their favourite cake flavour, and wet bet you, it would be chocolate. Chocolate cake is absolutely irresistible, especially for the kids. So, why not let your kid take some whisks?

  • Take a large bowl, add dry ingredients of all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar.
  • Combine these well. In another bowl, beat eggs (if you are a vegetarian, you can skip eggs or replace it with banana) butter, and milk.
  • Add dry ingredients into the wet, and combine well.
  • Once, you get the desired consistency, pour the batter into a cake tin and bake.
  • Take a toothpick test to determine whether it has baked properly or not.

4 Dark Chocolate Orange Bar: Dark chocolate is a sinful indulgence. Moreover, it has proven health benefits that makes it a sweet and healthy treat kids of all ages enjoy.

  • Melt raw dark chocolate in a double boiler
  • Add orange chunks or powder in the melted chocolate. You can add more flavourful ingredients if you wish to.
  • Pour the melted chocolate into the mould.
  • Now, set it to freeze.

You can also decorate the rakhi thali with a bar of dark chocolates and kids rakhi online for Raksha Bandhan celebrations.
