Mexican Street Food Cart Midtown NY 50th @ 6th Ave

A few months ago, I wrote about the Jamaican Food Dutchy "mexican food cart" "street food" "mexican food midtown ny" "street cart" Cart. You know, the one with the plasma screen and the direct TV dish? I was down on 50th st today trying to get some bento boxes from ChiYoda (future post coming soon) but they were sold out and then I ran into the cart with the huge sombrero. Nice. I had to stop and check this one out. Can it be better than the Super Tacos truck on W96th? I ordered a simple beef burrito for $5 and was surprised that it came with a side of rice and beans. The burrito was pretty good, not the best as I’ve had back in SF but overall for what you get for $5 you can’t lose. Great option if you are sick of Halal or the not-so-great Korean cart on that same block.
