Blue Smoke BBQ – Manhattan NY BBQ / Jazz Standard

Seems like there are so many BBQ places in NY that claim to be the “best in NY”. They all put a little spin on it such as Dinosaur BBQ uptown created by bad ass biker men. I don’t know if
Chef Kenny Callahan rides a chopper everyday, but Blue Smoke BBQ in my opinion is just as bad ass. Blue Smoke is in a comfortable classic steakhouse woody barroom and it’s also next door to the Jazz standard. There’s 2 Jazz sets per night and you can get in on a deal here where they combine a great meal and tickets to the show. If you would rather want to spend time over a plate of ribs however, you can always still the live jazz as its piped in on the house sound system. We had a party of 4 and decided to order the special samplers which includes a variety of spicy and sweet BBQ styles such as Kansas City, Memphis Style, and Missouri Style.
