Continental Airlines First Class Meals Newark to Hong Kong
What do you do to prepare for a 15 hour international flight? Try to get an upgrade to first class is one way. It set us back a few hundred dollars and some flier miles but it was totally worth it. Not only are the seats comfortable enough to sleep on but the meals are quite decent as well. Before take off we were served cocktails and some light refreshments. The cold appetizer plate included a choice of roasted duck and a salmon sashimi roll with a spread of horse radish sauce. The sauce wasn’t very spicy and was quite bland but otherwise the duck and salmon were a nice complement to the wine and drinks.

For main course I had the rib eye steak with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was a little overcooked but I guess that can’t be prevented as the meats are precooked before the flight.

For dessert there was the choice between the ice cream sundae and the berry cobbler a la mode.

Hi Simon!
Where are you? The meal and travel sounds great! I don’t have your new email. Please respond to me at my new email address.
