Who says you can’t get your cake and eat it too? Or in this case Guiness and burrito. Murphy and Gonzalez serves the best of two worlds: an Irish pub for your thirst and greasy Mexican food for your hunger. The concept is almost as cool as the bbq grill at San Diego’s legendary Turf Club.

I met my friend Mike a few weeks ago and we checked the place out for lunch. They have awesome drink specials and the portions are huge. For example the Nachos Gonzalez ($10) is listed under the appetizers section but could easily be a meal for 2 or 3. Great place to go to watch the game as they have TV monitors throughout the bar.
